Sweet Pea Dwarf Knee High Mix new. This fantastic dwarf bushy variety produces heavy-blooming 24-30 inch plants produce large fragrant flowers on long straight stems with 5-6 florets in a wide range of attractive vivid colours (purple, red, rose, white, pink, blue, scarlet, cream, and salmon). Can be massed as they require no support or can be trained on low trellises. They also look terrific scrambling over low shrubs and are excellent in containers.

Light: Full Sun

• Before planting, prepare your sight well.
• Choose a sunny, cool spot away from winds and heat-absorbing materials like brick and stone.
• A 1’ – 2’ deep bed that has been supplemented with compost or peat is ideal.
• Soak in water for 24 hours before planting or roll on sandpaper to slightly nick the outer surface.
• Seed is best startedundercover from 4-6 weeks before last frost in pots, thinning to individual plants when large enough (transplant the thinnings). Cover seeds with 1 inch of soil.
• Gradually acclimatise outside after all danger of frost has passed.
• Can be planted directly outside after the soil has warmed in late spring.
• For the earliest of displays sow in Oct and over-winter frost free under glass.
