The roots keep well in the ground over winter.

  • Sow thinly in 1cm drills 30cm apart from April-Jul.
  • Deep stone free soil preferred.
  • Do not sow on recently manured soil.
  • Thin to 10cm apart.
  • The thinning’s do not transplant well.
  • Keep weed free and water during very dry periods
  • Harvest from Aug as required through till Mar.
  • Flavour improves after last frost.
