Cultivation Advice Schizanthus Angel Wings Mix

  • Sow under cover with warmth in trays from 8-10 weeks prior to the last frost.  Can be sown late spring in a glasshouse but needs 15-20C to germinate. Surface sow pressing seed gently into growing medium as they require light to germinate.
  • Germination averages 1-3 weeks depending on temperature provided.
  • Transplant seedlings when large enough to handle and grow on under glass or acclimatise and plant out in warm weather.
  • Performs well in containers as well, but does need to be kept out of the hottest mid-summer conditions.
