Lobelia String of Pearls. A fantastic balanced mix of the brightest lobelia colours producing compact plants to a height of 10cm (4in) and spread 15cm (6in). Perfect for bedding and baskets.

Cultivation Advice Lobelia String of Pearls

• Sow 4-8 weeks prior to the last frost under cover with warmth at 18-24C (65-75F)
• in a good fine seed compost.
• Sow seeds on surface of compost and gently firm down the compost.
• Keep soil damp but not wet, sealing in a polythene bag after sowing is helpful to retain humidity
• and save watering whilst young.
• Do not exclude light.
• Germination takes 10-21 days depending on temperature.
• When seedlings are large enough to handle,
• transplant in bunches to trays and grow on in cooler conditions.
• Gradually acclimatise to outdoor conditions for 10-15 days before planting out after all risk of frost,
• 10cm (4in) apart in a sunny spot in light, moist soil.
