Daffodil – PAPERWHITES
Paperwhites are popular to grow indoors for displays over the winter and especially around Christmas.
Each stem has up to 10 small flowers, which are pure white. This bloom has one of the strongest fragrances amongst all daffodils and flowers within about 3 weeks of planting. Grows to heights of 35 cm.
If forcing for an indoor bulb, plant them in a vase or shallow bowl on top of a layer of gravel and add water to reach the top of the gravel layer only. Although Paperwhites can be grown outside, they?re not very hardy.
Hand picked quality 12-14 cm graded Dutch bulbs.
(If not planted immediately, open bag and spread somewhere cool and dry to prevent the bulbs sweating and rotting)
