Cultivation advice Amaranthus Tricolor – Red Calaloo
- Can be grown in trays as a micro-green all year with heat and light or sown directly outside to the growing position in a warm sheltered position from late spring. Does not transplant well.
- Sow thinly, very shallow, and barely cover with soil, gently firm down and keep moist.
- The variety will not germinate in cold / wet conditions and needs heat earlier in the season to thrive.
